About Dr. Smita Gupta
Dr. Smita Gupta is a renowned Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist with over 30 years of exemplary clinical experience. An academic achiever, she earned her M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Gynaecology and Obstetrics with Gold Medals from S.S. Medical College, Rewa, under Awadhesh Pratap Singh University.
She served as a Senior Consultant at ESI Hospital Basaidarapur from 1992 to 2018 and as Medical Superintendent at ESI General Hospital Naroda, Ahmedabad, from 2018 to 2019. After opting for VRS in 2019, she has continued her practice as a Senior Consultant at leading hospitals in Delhi. Her expertise spans general and high-risk obstetrics, gynaecology, infertility and various surgical procedures.
She has contributed significantly to maternal and child healthcare as a Nodal Officer for the National Health Mission and the RCH Programme. An active member of AOGD, FOGSI, IMA and DMA, she continues to advance women's health and reproductive care.
